Project Management Graduate, Lydia Bartlett, is starting her own missions ministry at her local church New Life.  Lydia shares a little bit about her vision and how ALC prepared her to carry out the call God placed in her heart:

“I was recently given the opportunity to go to Guatemala on a “vision trip”, myself along with 4 others from New Life will be meeting with a missions base down there called Hope of Life International. Hope of Life International is a Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people through their hospital, agriculture projects, educational programs and other efforts. This trip will focus on touring the missions base which includes over 3,000 acres. This will be the first of many missions trips. Our plan is to get my home church New Life Worship Center involved and facilitate future missions trips to Guatemala.

I am responsible to help with the organizing and managing aspects. I’m excited because of this opportunity and I know God is orchestrating every detail! My heart is for missions and I feel more prepared and trained from my experience at ALC to be apart of and help facilitate this awesome new ministry. I’m so thankful to God for this opportunity and I’m excited to see what He does through this.”
